Badrinath: Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Badrinath Temple was constructed by the Kings of Garhwal about two centuries before. This Badrinath Temple has three segments – Foremost Garbhagriha (Sanctum), another The Darshan Mandap, and third is Sabha Mandap. The Garbhagriha (Sanctum) is actual abode of Lord Badri Narayan in Badrinath Temple, Kuber (God of treasure), Narad Rishi, Uthavar, Nar and Narayan. Lord Vishnu Narayana (also known as Badri Vishal) is equipped with Shankha (Conch) and Chakra handled by two arms in a lifted posture and two arms relaxed on the lap in Yoga Mudra.
