Bhavishya badri temple is nested on the banks of Dhauli ganga(white water)at very tranquil place which is located 19 km away from Joshimath beyond Tapovan. Mythology of Bhavishya Badri

The unspoiled Bhavishya Badri (dedicated to Deity Vishnu) is situated place higher the Dhauliganga river. According to the divine predictions, a disastrous landslide will obstruct the route to Badrinath Dham at the final stage of the Kalyug. The deity Narsing idol's right arm will collapse in Joshimath's Narsingh Temple, causing an avalanche means devastating landslide. Following that, Bhavishya Badri will take Badrinath's place. Shri Bhavishya Badri Temple folklore truly means the name "Future Abode of Lord Badrinath" is what Bhavishya Badri, also known as Bhabisya Badri.

How to reach Bhavishya Badri

Travelers have to reach first Joshimath from there drive further to saldhar by car which is situated 19 km away from Joshimath and then start trek to visit Bhavishya badri. The nearest railway station here are Haridwar and Rishikesh wherefrom one can easily hire a taxi to reach Joshmimath and the jolly grant airport of Dehradun is the nearest airport which is situated approx 270 km away wherefrom one can easily rent any cab, taxi to reach Joshimath.

Best time to visit Bhavishya Badri

The Bhavishya Badri temple is open all year round, and you may delight in the beautiful scenery and weather there. May to June and September to October are the ideal times to visit this temple. During the holiday season, this location is quite friendly. You will love your stay at this season since festivals are held in magnificent style. Landslides and other natural disasters are also far less likely to occur at this time of year. During these months, the climate is very good, and you may easily make the long trip to this shrine.
